These work pretty well though I was watching these tiny drain flies walk around on the sticky surface. Apparently some of them are just too light to actually stick to the surface.
I mounted these on the wall about 5 feet from the sink in the kitchen island and over the course of 4 days I only caught one fly. There were still a bunch of them zipping around over by the drain, so I had to improvise and get an extension cord and put this right next to the drain. That works much better though is inconvenient.
I think now that this has been by the drain for 4 days or so I have caught most of the flies. I imagine you have to leave this in place for a while to break the cycle of flies so I will continue for a while until I don’t see anymore.

This is basically a fly strip in a new holder for indoors so you will not have an ugly hanging strip in your house. They have added a blue attractor light in a holder that plugs into a standard wall plug, so it captures low flying insects but not those flying near the ceiling. A box of 4 refills cost about $15 so that should be taken into account. How often you need the refills depends on you. I bought a two pack and one had about 12 “kills” and one had just 1 kill in the first week. I probably will only purchase these two and eventual a four pack of the refills.

This thing is phenomenal. I’m a plants person and we recently relocated to a much more humid place and we’re having issues with little gnats. I bought this two pack not expecting much and there has been a noticeable reduction. They are making a huge difference.
There’s a few cons – one is that it uses light to attract the bugs so there’s a massive blue light on these non stop making it limited where we can put them. Part 2 is they take up an outlet and are not small by any means so for effectiveness- you can’t be short on plugs

Very good, it does attract the majority of flies. I guess I will have to refill each cartridge each time? I was wondering about that, do I have to buy one each time? It seems like that is the case.
Si funciona, atrae la mayoría de las moscas y mosquitos. Me estaba preguntando si tengo que comprar un cartucho cada vez? A mi parecer, parece que si.

I was so glad to receive these traps. They work great on the pesky little fruit flies and other small flying pest. They were easily load. I like that they are refillable, The light is a little brighter than I like especially at night. If you need a night light they are perfect.

I was super wary that this simple trap would even work. We had an issue with gnats in our house due to them living in the lawn and finding their way inside (Its Kansas in the Summer) Bought two of these and within a few days I noticed that they weren’t buzzing around any more in the house. When I went to replace the traps – an even more pleasant surprise? It caught the house flies as well! Its like a giant nightlight emitting a blue glow that isn’t super bright or invasive. And it doesn’t look like a bug trap. So I would definitely suggest buying one for your kitchen and any other area that your having gnat or fly issues.

Does the trick for our gnat issue. Only issue is the price of the refills. They suggest changing the refill every two weeks but that can get pretty expensive. Luckily it took care of our issue.

Bugs in SW Florida are no joke and mosquitoes are creeping in…this lighted plug in did the job after a few days. I bought two more for other rooms.

It helps to have something near the unit that attracts the gnats and fruitflies. The blue light doesn’t do much by itself.,

These work pretty well. The only thing I didn’t know is, they only work when they are the only source of light. Meaning, at night after you have turned off all other lights. Just so ya know.
